Retreats

Our retreats include luxury accomodations, rejuvenating local fresh fruits and vegetables, guided nature activities including hiking, swimming, kayaking, off-road-ing, guided yoga and meditation, and teachings from realized beings such as Sadhguru, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, and Adyashanti.

Participants learn and practice classical hatha yoga (Surya Kriya and Yogasanas) and yogic methods that incorporate into daily life to connect with and purify the five elements ensuring optimal health and joy across body, mind and energy. We look forward to welcoming you to a retreat below:

Mission

Satchitananda Ranch is a sacred space for holding retreats dedicated to raising consciousness. We serve leaders in taking the time they need to build a strong physical, mental, emotional and energetic foundation from which they can support their communities. We focus on uplifting leading entrepreneurs, investors, academics, musicians, artists, athletes and politicians who bring their learnings and well-being to the broader world.

Land

The ranch includes 600 pristine acres of rolling hills, sage brush, ponds, and aspen groves bordering 90,000+ acres of untouched national forest. The panoramic views of the Wind River and Wyoming mountains are awe-inspiring and vast. Simply being at the ranch offers profound healing energy reconnecting with nature and the five elements. Guests can mingle with the ranch horses and a variety of wildlife including eagles, deer, antelope, badgers, frogs, and ducks.

Spaces

The property includes luxurious houses, cabins, yoga/meditation spaces, hot tubs, and cold plunges in which visitors can relax and refresh. The ranch also includes a 25,000 square foot consecrated farm that provides fresh local energized fruits and vegetables to retreat participants to support healthy eating and detoxification.

Dakin Sloss

Founder

Dakin Sloss is an entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and yogi. He is Founder and General Partner of Prime Movers Lab, the world’s leading partner of breakthrough scientific startups. Prior to founding Prime Movers Lab, Dakin served as founding CEO of Tachyus and OpenGov. He is also a philanthropist through the Satchitananda Foundation dedicated to delivering food, freedom and flourishing to our global human family. Dakin studied Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy at Stanford University. Dakin has been recognized as one of Yahoo Finance’s THE NEXT: 21 people who will have a significant impact, as the featured Forbes 30 Under 30 energy entrepreneur, and as a San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40 honoree.

Dakin has spent the past decade deeply exploring spirituality under the guidance of masters including Sadhguru, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Master Co, and Tony Robbins. Dakin is delighted to share Satchitananda Ranch and Satchitananda Farm as sacred spaces for rejuvenation and spiritual learning grounded in the wisdom of his teachers.

Sukha Mahendra

Yoga Teacher

Sukha Mahendra embodies the Guru-Shishya (Guru-Disciple) tradition of India, having trained as an Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher under the guidance of Sadhguru, founder of Isha Foundation. Sukha has taught yoga at companies such as Google, Amazon, and Athleta/Gap Inc.

In addition to his yoga practice, Sukha completed his Master’s degree in filmmaking from London Film School, and nurtures his artistic spirit with poetry, drawing, and filmmaking. His recent film ‘The Monkey’ has been selected by the LA Shorts International Film Festival 2024.

Marty Epstein

Self-Inquiry Facilitator

Marty Epstein, M.S., a coach, mediator, trainer in both “Effective Conversation” and Nonviolent Communication, and teacher of Sanskrit, is a Certified Facilitator for The Work of Byron Katie. He and his co-facilitator, Evie Gibbens, have designed, created and offered many classes based on Byron Katie’s books “I Need Your Love – Is It True” and “A Mind at Home with Itself”.

He has given workshops at the UN, and a teacher of Negotiation at Columbia University & Conflict Resolution at Pace University.

Mayra Melgar

Chef

Mayra is a Salvadorean nutritional chef, mother of 5 children, with the mission of improving health through 100% natural and rich-nutrient foods. Her motto is: "The medicine is in the food and the food is the medicine". Her experience began over 30 years ago addressing her own journey with gestational diabetes. After helping her family to have a better diet and fight against the diseases they suffered from, Mayra made a promise to herself that she would help other people to learn about healthy food.

In 2014 she became a professional chef and has traveled the world sharing her recipes and experience with people from all economic backgrounds. Another of her passions is volunteering in different social programs and she is passionate about helping others find their passion, gifts, and talents. She firmly believes that anyone, without exception, can achieve extraordinary things when given the necessary tools, acting intentionally and with purpose.

Della Drews

Retreat Manager

Della Drews holds a degree in journalism and has over thirteen years of experience working in the legal field, family office management, and as an executive assistant for high-net-worth individuals. With a background as a massage therapist, she is also a certified RYT 200 Yoga Instructor and has recently become a Certified Light Leader Coach.

Della is passionate about collaborating with forward-thinking, like-minded individuals focused on health and healing. She brings intentional positive energy to every interaction, fostering a supportive and uplifting environment.

Christopher Drews

Ranch Manager

Christopher Drews is a jack of all trades and has a degree in architecture, specializing in green design, sustainable, and smart design. He has extensive experience working with high-end architectural firms based in Jackson, WY, as well as high-end construction firms. As a project manager, Christopher has successfully overseen the construction and completion of numerous projects in both the residential and commercial sectors. His passion for creating innovative and sustainable designs, combined with his wealth of knowledge and expertise, helps him unlock significant value at Satchitananda Ranch.
